The Hostal Moni is composed of two houses that are situated in the Albayzín (Albaicín), the most romantic quarter of Granada; one of the houses is in Plaza S. Bartolomé and the other in Panaderos street. They both are old houses renovated. Generations of Hebraics, Islamics and Catolics lived there years ago, in the “Al-Andalus” period.
In the same quarter there are bars where you can enjoy a tipic breakfast, good dishes and the tipical "tapas" with a good glass of wine or a beer.
In the quarter you will find supermarkets, butcher's shops, souvenir shops, a videoclub and the market in Plaza Larga, where you can buy fruit and vegetables but also clothes, shoes, flowers at a low price.
In Granada you don’t need a car, you can visit the city on foot or by bus. There are many buses from the Albayzín to the city center and the Alhambra.
The house in Plaza S. Bartolomé has a parking and a garage. It has two common terraces with a beautiful sight of the quarter and the Generalife of the Alhambra. The rooms are endowed with two single beds or a double bed, with TV and air-conditioned. There are three suites with its own kitchen, air-conditioned and bathroom. In one of the terraces there is a washing machine. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom and other not.
The house of the Panaderos street has four rooms that can be rent individually or for a group. A room has a private bathroom; there is a living room with kitchen and TV.
If you arrive by car:
You can arrive at the Albayzin through the street of Murcia leaving the motorway A-92, exit 253 (El Fargue, Granada Este). From Granada center, going through the old street of Murcia (dirección El Fargue) and you’ll arrive in 5 minutes at the Albayzín. When you are at the Albayzín the first sreet on your right is San Bartolomé.
Attention! Cars can’t enter in the Albaycin without a pass in some hours of the day.
From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 24:00 it’s possible to enter only with pass.
If you call us we will come to open the barrier.
It’s possible to park the car in front of the house.
Taxis can enter at all times.
With bus:
From the center, Gran Via de Colón o Plaza Nueva, take the bus 31 to el Albayzin. You must get off at “Albayzin” bus stop and go to Panaderos street.
