The Cortijo La Reina Hotel is part of a 150,000 m2 land, located near the Montes de Malaga Natural Park, 20 minutes away from the city and 30 minutes away from the airport. Its remarkable situation, 800 m. high, makes possible to enjoy beautiful views to the sea and the valley.
Close to the hotel are Colmenar, Archidona, Casabermeja and other villages in the region of the Montes de Malaga and La Axarquia. Likewise, El Candado, Guadalhorce, Parador de Torremolinos and Añoreta - some of the many golf courses in Malaga- are very near.
The land has several pathways to walk around and enjoy nature.
Besides olives, pines, almond trees and holm oaks, there is a wide variety of fruit trees: orange , grapefruit and kiwi trees, avocados and so on, up to a total of 27 species.
Likewise, there is a wide variety of bird species that live in the land: sparrows, chaffinches, woodpeckers, goldfinches, eagles and sparrow hawks, among others.
