During his stay in the "HOSTERÍA DEL LAUREL" around the year 1844, Don JOSÉ ZORRILLA, a romantic writer of the time, was inspired by the atmosphere of the inn, into creating his famous character (DON JUAN TENORIO). For this reason the story which took place in the XVI century, was centered in Seville, where the "HOSTERÍA DEL LAUREL" can still be visited.
