Huerta grande is a rural Tourist Complex of 8 hectareas, located in the entrance of the Natural Park of the Cork oak groves, next to the Village of Pelayo, in I finish municipal of Algeciras, in km 96 of National Ctra 340 (between Tarifa and Algeciras).
ACCOMODATION
All our lodgings are provided of bed linen and towels. There is wifi available in the reception of the complex too.
CASA DEL ESPÍA (Spy´s House) - 6/10 PERSONS
This is an early 20th century, English-style cottage with a slate roof, and a pentagonal-shaped living room with fireplace and television. It is equipped with fridge, washing machine, microwave, kitchen utensils and coffee maker. You can ask for a baby cot too.
The house has four bedrooms, each with private bath, a kitchen, dining room and heating in all rooms.
It can be separated into 2 parts that can be hired separately:
Casa del Espía (Spy´s house) - 3 bedrooms - 6/8 persons
1 bedroom with a double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each one and 2 extra beds that can be added in one of the bedrooms.
Studio "Casa del Espía" for 2 persons
1 bedroom with a double bed.
The house was used as a hiding place for Italian spies during World War II.
The luxury of the surroundings and the house’s charm give guests an idea as to the life the agents made for themselves here.
CASA DEL COMANDANTE (Commander´s House) - 6/8 PERSONS
A typical, early 20th-century Andalusian house with a tile roof.
It has three bedrooms, each with private bath, living room with fireplace, television and a kitchen. It is equipped with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and kitchen utensils. You can ask for a baby cot.
The house has a capacity for 6 to 8 people; guests can rent the entire house or individual rooms.
The three bedrooms have 2 single beds each one. In addition, it is possible to add until 2 extra beds in one of the bedrooms.
It has been reformed for use as accommodation and is very comfortable.
CABINS
The cabins are made of treated wood. They have a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and heating. It is also possible to rent a television.
Their capacity is between two and four guests. They are equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen utensils.
Cabins with 1 room - 2/3 persons
These cabins have 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofa bed for a third person.
Cabins with 2 bedrooms - 4 pax
Cabins with 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each one.
HOW TO GET
Between Tarifa and Algeciras is the small village of Pelayo, if it comes just from Tariff in the right lateral part before entering the small village will find the signal from access to the property.
If it comes from Algeciras, it will have to cross all the village and when coming out of this one it will find the lateral access in the left one
Strategic situation between two continents and next to the Straits of Gigraltar. a is few minutes of the populations of Gibraltar, Tariff, Sotogrande, San Roque, Jimena, Castellar, the Districts, Coast of the Sun, to half an hour in boat of Tánger from Tariff.
LANDSCAPE
The surroundings are most important of GREAT ORCHARD, surrounded by a forest of trees and plants of diverse variety (ferns, quejigos, alders, ojaranzos, etc...), surrounded by a Internode (typical river of the Natural park the Cork oak groves).
