Situated in one of the oldest streets in this village of 2000 inhabitants, the hotel is the result of the joining together of various small, but fine houses from the 19th century. Although renovated on various occassions the basic structure and form is the same. The façade with its ancient window bars and main entrance door, complete with viewing hatch and ornamental studs reflects the traditional architecture of the area for several centuries.

Our hotel has a large comfortable lounge with fireplace and a restaurant with both indoor and outside seating. The bedrooms are arranged around the patios, simply decorated and feature our local Grazalema blankets. A stay in Casa de las Piedras will allow you to enjoy the tranquility and ambience of our family run hotel, chatting al fresco on one of our patios, or by the warmth of the fire. You may also wish to sample some of our local foods prepared freshly each day in our restaurant. (Privately operated).

in another building we have 6 modern appartments. There is possible to prepare your own food in the kitchens should you wish to do so, or, regardless of whether you arrive as a group, couple or individually you may also avail yourselves of the hotel´s services.

Grazalema is at 830 metres above sea level at the heart of the ´Natural Park´which bears its name. We enjoy a good climate and plenty of fresh air and many people suffering from respiratory illnesses benefit from a stay here. In the villlage itself there is much of interest. If you want to enjoy all sorts of activities, such as: hiking, climbing, absailing and horseriding, we have it all in our park and it will bring you closer to the park and our wonderful flora and fauna. There are also routes of particular interest to ornitholgists and archiologists and for visiting surrounding villages by car, motorbike, or bicycle.
