This charming small hotel overlooking the Alhambra and close to Plaza Nueva, with its fascinating interior Patio, has been recommended in various guides including "Small Hotels with Charm" (Pequeños Hoteles con Encanto).
Its outstanding Patio is beautifully decorated with paintings, a fountain, columns, balustrades, ornamental tiles and in particular the renaissance paintings conferred to Alejandro Mayner and Giulio Romano, disciples of Rafael, who came to Granada in 1520 to paint the “Peinador de la Reina” in the Alhambra and also the Palacio de Santa Inés.
It has two small mudejar buildings that were built in the first third of the XVIth century.The Alhambra Hall of the Palace of Santa Inés offers its guests the exclusive enjoyment of an authentic Mudéjar panelled roof built in 1512. For special occasions the Alhambra Hall can be converted into a Dining Room, offering room for groups of up to 35.
