Prado del Rey

PRADO DEL REY is an Andalucian village located in the northeast of the Province of Cadiz, very close to the provincial borders of Seville in the north and Malaga in the East, which makes it an easily accessible place from the roads leaving Seville (Las Cabezas-Ubrique road), and also along the roads from Ronda and Jerez or Arcos de la Fra.

Its municipal district forms part of the Nature Parks of Sierra de Grazalema and los Alcornocales.The Nature Park of Sierra de Grazalema has beautiful and unique scenery within it, amongst others species, the Spanish Fir, unique in Europe except for the Urals.

The district is part of the Route of the white villages. Its most emblematic historic legacy is the Roman town of Iptuci, located in the south of the area, which gives proof of the existence of human settlements in this part of the Sierra de Cádiz from Neolithic times to the 15th century, flourishing under Roman rule.

Between olive groves and vineyards (from where the rich grape juice “Pajarete” comes) Prado del Rey is a modern village, with well defined streets and gardens, decorated by the inhabitants.

Prado del Rey is a very lively village which has 3 swimming pools, one of them with salt water. It also has discotheques and pubs with great atmosphere.
